Faith No More is an American rock band from San Francisco, California, formed in 1979. Before settling on the current name, the band performed under the names Sharp Young Men[3] and later Faith No Man. Bassist Billy Gould, keyboardist/rhythm guitarist Roddy Bottum and drummer Mike Bordin are the longest-remaining members of the band, having been involved since its inception. The band underwent several early lineup changes, and some major changes later. The current lineup of Faith No More consists of Gould, Bordin, Bottum, lead guitarist Jon Hudson, and vocalist/lyricist Mike Patton. After releasing six studio albums, including best-selling records The Real Thing (1989) and Angel Dust (1992), Faith No More officially announced its breakup on April 20, 1998. The band has since reunited, conducting The Second Coming Tour between 2009 and 2010, and releasing its seventh studio album, Sol Invictus, in May 2015.[6] Following the touring cycle of Sol Invictus, Faith No More went on hiatus once again. In November 2019, the band made the announcement that they would be reuniting to embark on a 2020 UK and European tour. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the start of the tour was postponed until June 2021.
The Real Thing is the third studio album by American rock band Faith No More, released on June 20, 1989 by Slash and Reprise Records. It was the first album by the band not to feature vocalist Chuck Mosley, instead, the album featured Mike Patton from the experimental/funk band Mr. Bungle. On this album, Faith No More continued to advance their sound range, combining thrash metal, funk, hip hop, rap metal, progressive rock, synthpop, carousel music and hard rock, along with what has been escribed as "a black sense of humor".
As 1989 arrived, Faith No More were in a state of flux. The group had released a pair of modestly successful albums with frontman Chuck Mosely, but as his behavior became more erratic, the band decided a change was in order. Enter Mike Patton, and on June 20, 1989, Faith No More released their third studio disc, The Real Thing.
Creedence Clearwater Revival, also referred to as Creedence and CCR, was an American rock band that recorded and performed from 1959 to 1972 under various names before settling on the Creedence Clearwater Revival name in 1967. The band initially consisted of lead vocalist, lead guitarist, and primary songwriter John Fogerty; his brother, rhythm guitarist Tom Fogerty; bassist Stu Cook; and drummer Doug Clifford. These members had played together since 1959, first as the Blue Velvets and later as the Golliwogs.
CCR's musical style encompassed roots rock, swamp rock, blues rock, Southern rock, country rock, and blue-eyed soul. Belying their origins in the East Bay subregion of the San Francisco Bay Area, the band often played in a Southern rock style, with lyrics about bayous, catfish, the Mississippi River and other elements of Southern United States iconography. The band's songs rarely dealt with romantic love, concentrating instead on political and socially conscious lyrics about topics such as the Vietnam War.[9] The band performed at the 1969 Woodstock festival in Upstate New York, and was the first major act signed to appear there.
The B-52s (styled as The B-52's prior to 2008)[8] is an American new wave band formed in Athens, Georgia, in 1976. The original line-up consisted of Fred Schneider (vocals, percussion), Kate Pierson (vocals, keyboards, synth bass), Cindy Wilson (vocals, percussion), Ricky Wilson (guitar), and Keith Strickland (drums, guitar, keyboards). Ricky Wilson died from AIDS-related illness in 1985,[9] and Strickland switched from drums to lead guitar. The band also added various members for albums and live performances.
The group evoked a "thrift shop aesthetic", in the words of Bernard Gendron,[ by drawing from 1950s and 1960s pop sources, trash culture, and rock and roll. Schneider, Pierson, and Wilson sometimes use call-and-response-style vocals (Schneider's often humorous sprechgesang contrasting with the melodic harmonies of Pierson and Wilson), and their guitar- and keyboard-driven instrumentation comprises their trademark sound, which was also set apart from their contemporaries by the unusual guitar tunings used by Ricky Wilson[10] on their earlier albums. The band has had many hits, including "Rock Lobster", "Planet Claire", "Party Out of Bounds", "Private Idaho", "Whammy Kiss", "Summer of Love", "Wig", "Love Shack", "Roam" and "(Meet) The Flintstones".
"Planet Claire" is the second single released by The B-52's from their self-titled debut album. The single was their second to chart anywhere, at no. 43 in Australia and no. 24 on the US Hot Dance Club Play chart, along with album tracks "Rock Lobster" and "Dance This Mess Around".

(Everybody, follow me!) is the second album by the Serbian alternative rock band Disciplina Kičme, released by the Slovenian record label Helidon in 1986, and reissued on CD by the record label in 1997. A remastered version of the album was rereleased on CD on the compilation album Ove ruke nisu male... 2 in 2005.
Serbian rock band formed in 1981, one of the two spin-offs of the seminal new wave band Šarlo Akrobata, musically best described as an aggressive and artistic rhythmic explosion experimenting and seeking out new expressivness. During next 10 years, various additions to basic bass+voice+drums line-up appeared (additional drummer, 2 drummers + 2 trumpeters, sax + trumpet). Band released 7 LPs on the domestic market, constantly toured the country and played festivals in Yugoslavia, Austria and Italy.
After the war in Yugoslavia broke out in 1991, Koja, who became almost legendary for his revolutionary use of the bass guitar as a lead instrument, moved to London, UK. Wanting to present the band more loudly in Europe, he found a new drummer and female vocalist, changed his alias to Black Tooth and name of the band to Disciplin A Kitschme.

Guerrero was a member of skateboard company Powell Peralta's Bones Brigade team in the 1980's and co-founded the Real Skateboards company in 1991. He followed up his skateboard career with music, joining Skate Rock band Free Beer and experimental group Jet Black Crayon, later becoming a solo artist playing Rock, Electronic, Hip Hop, Funk, Soul, and Jazz. The EA video game 'Skate' featured Guerrero compositions.
