And Also the Trees su engleski bend nastao 1979. godine u selu Inkberrow, Worcestershire, u srcu ruralne Engleske. Njihova muzika, prožeta post‑pankom i gotik rokom, nosi jedinstvenu atmosferu – zvuk koji izvire iz pejzaža engleskog sela, književnih tradicija i mračnog romantizma.

Osnivači i postava: Bend su pokrenuli braća Simon Huw Jones (vokal, tekstovi) i Justin Jones (gitara), a današnju postavu čine i Paul Hill (bubnjevi), Grant Gordon (bas) te Colin Ozanne (klarinet, klavijature).

Stil i estetika: Njihov izraz je poetski, a gitarska tehnika Justina Jonesa često priziva zvuk mandoline. John Peel ih je jednom opisao kao „previše engleske za same Engleze“, što možda najbolje oslikava njihovu posebnost.

Veza sa The Cure: U ranim godinama, Robert Smith i Lol Tolhurst iz grupe The Cure bili su im mentori. Tolhurst je producirao njihov prvi album i singlove, čime je bend dobio snažan podsticaj na početku karijere.

Осврт на живот и дело Била Еванса

Бил Еванс (Bill Evans), један од најзначајнијих џез пијаниста 20. века, рођен је 16. августа 1929. године у Плејнфилду, Њу Џерзи. Његова музика представља синтезу класичне музичке традиције и модерног џеза, обликована нежним, импровизационим сензибилитетом, али и дубоком меланхолијом. Познат је по рафинираној динамици, хармонијама које подсећају на Дебисија и Равела, као и по способности да створи интимну атмосферу чак и у најсложенијим импровизацијама.

Евансова каријера је обележена сарадњом са многим великанима џеза, међу којима је и Мајлс Дејвис. Његов рад на легендарном албуму Kind of Blue (1959) утицао је на правце модалног џеза. Међутим, његов највећи уметнички печат остаје повезан са трио формом — нарочито са Скотом Лафаром и Полом Моушном, са којима је створио нови концепт интеракције у џез ансамблу, где сви инструменти воде подједнако значајан дијалог.

Евансово свирање је често било интроспективно и медитативно, прожето личном трагедијом и борбом са зависношћу, што му је давало јединствену дубину. Његова музика је сведочанство о људској рањивости, али и о трагању за лепотом упркос тами.


О албуму From Left to Right (1971)

Албум From Left to Right представља необично поглавље у Евансовом опусу. Наслов албума алудира на панораму звука — лево је електрични, а десно акустични клавир, што ствара утисак дијалога самог са собом.

A Reflection on the Life and Work of Bill Evans

Bill Evans, one of the most influential jazz pianists of the 20th century, was born on August 16, 1929, in Plainfield, New Jersey. His music represents a synthesis of classical tradition and modern jazz, shaped by a gentle improvisational sensibility and deep melancholy. He is known for his refined dynamics, harmonies reminiscent of Debussy and Ravel, and for his ability to create intimate atmospheres even in the most complex improvisations.

Evans’ career is marked by collaborations with many jazz greats, including Miles Davis. His work on the landmark album Kind of Blue (1959) helped shape modal jazz. However, his most profound artistic legacy lies in his trio work, especially with Scott LaFaro and Paul Motian, where he pioneered a new model of group interaction in jazz, with each instrument contributing equally to the musical dialogue.

Evans’ playing was often introspective and meditative. It was imbued with personal tragedy and a struggle with addiction, which gave it unique emotional depth. His music stands as a testament to human vulnerability and the search for beauty despite the darkness.


About the Album From Left to Right (1971)

From Left to Right is a unique chapter in Evans’ discography. Recorded in 1971, it was the first album on which he combined an acoustic piano with an electric one (Fender Rhodes)—something new for him at the time. The title refers to the sound panorama, with the electric piano on the left and the acoustic on the right, giving the impression of a dialogue with himself.

This album stands out for its atmosphere — less melancholic, more lyrical and cinematic, featuring orchestral and string arrangements. While some critics don’t consider it among his deepest works, From Left to Right shows Evans in a different light — as a gentle romantic who doesn't shy away from experimentation.

It is particularly interesting to hear how Evans finds intimacy within sonic richness — he remains a poet of the piano, even in a more lush production setting. This is an album for late-night listening, for inner conversations and quiet contemplation.

Anarhizam se danas modernizovao a urbani buntovnik konformizovao. Svetska revolucija nije uspela, ostalo nam je da sami vodimo svoje bitke a ostao nam je i andergaund (underground). Pred nama je jedan  andergraund opredeljen mlađi beogradski pesnik, rok muzičar i pisac, Sebastijan Sava Gor, koji nam u ovoj svojoj seriji kratkih priča pripoveda o urbanizovanim ambijentima Megalopolisa III, megalopolisa nužnosti, za razliku od futurističko-tehnicističkog Megalopolisa I, megalopolisa želje – Metropolisa, Frica Langa (Fritz Lang, 1890-1976), nikad ne ostvarenog, i Megalopolisa II - tepih-urbanizacije iz šezdesetih godina prošlog veka koja je obećavala “posao i stan za svakog”, ali neuspešno, što se kasnije uspostavilo i kao utopija. Andergraund je ovde važan kao jedini nastavak ideja o Svetskoj /modernoj/ revoluciji, nastalih na zdravoj osnovi Spenserovog  konzervativnog anarhizma (Herbert Spencer 1820 –1903) sa krilaticom: “The Man versus the State / Čovek protiv države/”,  a koji  se takođe nikad nije realizovao kao “naivan”. Dok su se u medjuvremenu pojavile ideje o globalizaciji sveta i društvu bez države, ovaj umetnički pravac, mada naizgled globalistički, zapravo je jedini ostao anarho-podrivački  i ima za krajnji cilj da podrije sve društvene sisteme, aparature i establišmente, bilo koje vrste, pošto ih smatra za prodate i pokvarene..."

Review of the book – Sebastian Sava Gor: “The Night of Broken Arrows”, Belgrade, 2014

This collection of short stories explores the figure of the urban man today. The text analyzes contemporary urban existence and shows that, in these stories, the modern urban man is quite different from the one found in Megalopolis I / Metropolis by Fritz Lang — the megalopolis of desires — as well as from the urban man of Megalopolis II, marked by mass urbanization since the 1960s, an urbanization of disappointment.

The conclusion is that today we live in a Megapolis with a cult of fun and games, and that the writer stands in opposition to it — fighting for more nature and a more natural way of life: within oneself, in everyday life, and in love.

This Mortal Coil је био британски музички пројекат основан 1983. године од стране Ива Вотса-Расела, оснивача независне издавачке куће 4AD. Пројекат је окупљао разне музичаре, често са 4AD етикете, који су сарађивали на етереалним и сновитим прерадама песама и оригиналним композицијама. This Mortal Coil was a British music project formed in 1983 by Ivo Watts-Russell, the founder of the independent record label 4AD. Grant Greenov album *Idle Moments* iz 1963. godine jedno je od najcenjenijih dela u svetu džeza, poznato po svojoj melodičnoj profinjenosti i atmosferi koja uranja u mirne, gotovo kontemplativne ritmove. Green, rodom iz Sent Luisa, već je u mladosti postao jedan od najtraženijih gitarista svoje generacije, a njegov stil sviranja gitare karakterišu jasnoća tona, spontanost fraziranja i neupadljivo, ali prodorno muzičko izražavanje. Tokom 1960-ih postao je prepoznatljivo ime u Blue Note Records etiketi, gde je sarađivao sa mnogim džez veličinama. *Idle Moments* se izdvaja kao trenutak u njegovoj karijeri kada se njegova muzikalnost potpuno ostvaruje u slojevitom, meditativnom zvuku.

Naslovna numera, "Idle Moments," koja traje preko 14 minuta, odiše atmosferom mirnog popodneva, polako razotkrivajući zvučnu harmoniju između Greenove gitare, Duke Pearsonovog klavira i Joe Hendersonovog tenorskog saksofona. Born in St. Louis, Green quickly became one of the most sought-after guitarists of his generation, known for his clear tone, spontaneous phrasing, and subtle yet profound musical expression. In the 1960s, he became a prominent figure at Blue Note Records, collaborating with many jazz greats. *Idle Moments* stands out as a moment in his career where his musicality fully blooms in a layered, meditative sound.

The title track, "Idle Moments," which lasts over 14 minutes, exudes the atmosphere of a tranquil afternoon, slowly revealing a harmonious interplay between Green's guitar, Duke Pearson's piano, and Joe Henderson's tenor saxophone. He is one of the originators of the Tulsa sound, a loose genre drawing on blues, rockabilly, country, and jazz.

If These Trees Could Talk is an instrumental post-rock band from Akron, Ohio. The band self-released their self-titled debut EP in 2006. Independent record label The Mylene Sheath re-released the EP on vinyl in 2007 and released the band's debut studio album, Above the Earth, Below the Sky, on vinyl in 2009. The band self-released their second album, Red Forest, in March 2012, while the album's vinyl release went through Science of Silence Records. They went on to follow up the release of "Red Forest" with a self-promoted tour throughout Europe in April 2012. The band released its third album, The Bones of a Dying World, in June 2016 on Metal Blade Records.

The Bones of a Dying World is the third studio album by American post-rock band If These Trees Could Talk. It was released on June 3, 2016 through Metal Blade Records. The album was produced by drummer Zack Kelly. The album was announced in late April 2016 alongside the premiere track "Solstice". Subsequently, debuted in May 2016 were tracks "Earth Crawler" and "Berlin".

The Pixies are an American alternative rock band formed in 1986 in Boston, Massachusetts. Until 2013, the band comprised Black Francis (vocals, rhythm guitar, songwriter), Joey Santiago (lead guitar), Kim Deal (bass, backing vocals) and David Lovering (drums). The band disbanded acrimoniously in 1993 but reunited in 2004. After Deal left in 2013, the Pixies hired Kim Shattuck as a touring bassist; she was replaced the same year by Paz Lenchantin, who became a permanent member in 2016.

The Pixies are associated with the 1990s alternative rock boom, and draw on elements including punk rock and surf rock. Their music is known for its dynamic "loud-quiet-loud" shifts and song structures. Francis is the Pixies' primary songwriter; his often surreal lyrics cover offbeat subjects such as extraterrestrials, incest, and biblical violence. They achieved modest popularity in the US but were more successful in Europe. Their jarring pop sound influenced acts such as Nirvana, Radiohead, the Smashing Pumpkins and Weezer. Šarlo Akrobata (Serbian Cyrillic: Шарло Акробата; trans. Charlot the Acrobat, a Serbo-Croatian language version of Charlie Chaplin's name in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia) were a seminal Serbian new wave/post-punk band from Belgrade. Short-lived but extremely influential, in addition to being one of the most important acts of the Yugoslav new wave scene, the three piece left an indelible mark on the entire music scene of former Yugoslavia.

Spawning from the progressive/hard rock group Limunovo Drvo (Serbian Cyrillic: Лимуново Дрво; trans. Lemon Tree), founded in 1977 by guitarist and vocalist Milan Mladenović and guitarist Dragomir Mihajlović "Gagi", after several lineup changes, moved towards new wave music, with the arrival of bassist and vocalist Dušan Kojić "Koja" and drummer Ivan Vdović "VD". After performing as an opening act for Pankrti in April 1980, Mihajlović left the band and the remaining three members changed their name to Šarlo Akrobata, after a Yugoslav nickname for actor Charlie Chaplin. Subsequently, the trio recorded four tracks which were released on the 1981 compilation album Paket aranžman, now considered to be one of the most influential releases in the history of former Yugoslav rock music. During 1981, the band released their debut album Bistriji ili tuplji čovek biva kad..., after which, owing to irreconcilable differences between the band members, the band ceased to exist. The album received critical recognition and is regarded as one of the most notable albums of former Yugoslav rock music.

After the band disbandment, Mladenović with Vdović and Mihajlović formed Katarina II, which changed its name to Ekatarina Velika after the departure of the latter two, and Kojić formed Disciplina Kičme, changing its name to Disciplin A Kitschme in 1995. In 1992, Ivan Vdović died of AIDS, followed by Milan Mladenović's death from pancreatic cancer in 1994.








After the band disbandment, Mladenović with Vdović and Mihajlović formed Katarina II, which changed its name to Ekatarina Velika after the departure of the latter two, and Kojić formed Disciplina Kičme, changing its name to Disciplin A Kitschme in 1995. In 1992, Ivan Vdović died of AIDS, followed by Milan Mladenović's death from pancreatic cancer in 1994.

Music Documentaries: Rolling Stones: "Shine a Light" Martin Scorsese (2008) Rock&Roll








Shine a Light is a 2008 concert film directed by Martin Scorsese documenting the Rolling Stones' 2006 Beacon Theatre performances during their A Bigger Bang Tour. The film also includes archive footage from the band's career and marked the first utilisation by Scorsese of digital cinematography for his films, with it being used for the backstage sequences. The film takes its title from the song of the same name, featured on the band's 1972 album Exile on Main St. A soundtrack album was released in April 2008 on the Universal label. This is also the last movie by Paramount Classics, as the company merged into its sister company Paramount Vantage after the movie was released.

Bauhaus are an English rock band, formed in Northampton, England, in 1978. The group consists of Daniel Ash (guitar, saxophone), Peter Murphy (vocals, occasional instruments), Kevin Haskins (drums) and David J (bass). The band was originally named Bauhaus 1919 in reference to the first operating year of the German art school Bauhaus, although they shortened the name within a year of formation. One of the pioneers of gothic rock, Bauhaus were known for their dark image and gloomy sound, although they mixed many genres, including dub, glam rock, psychedelia, and funk.

U ovoj emisiji korišćeni su živi snimci sa Koncerta u "Božidarcu" 09.12.1996. godine. Najalternativnija muzička emisija na prostorima bivše Socijalističke Federativne Republike Jugoslavije. Miomir Grujić Fleka (Šabac, 1954—Beograd, 2003) bio je magistar slikarstva i multidisciplinarni umetnik čija je umetnička praksa zastupljena u svim važnijim istorijama savremene umetnosti post-jugoslovenskog prostoraomir Grujić Fleka
Rođen je 1. juna 1954. godine u Šapcu i već kao srednjoškolac aktivno se uključuje u kulturni život grada kao član Kluba mladih stvaralaca Šapca i kolumnista u listovima Plamen, Susreti, Kolokvijumi 25. maj. Studirao pravo i slikarstvo na Fakultetu likovnih umetnosti u Beogradu, gde je diplomirao 1985. godine. Na istoj školi završio je i postdiplomske studije. Јеdan od osnivača Zavičajnog kluba studenata koji se nalazio u Domu omladine, sadašnjem Kulturnom centru Šabac. Delovanje kluba studenata vezano je za kultno mesto grada, klub Rupa, u kojem je Fleka bio progamski uredniк svih kulturnih sadržaja. 





Objavljivao literarne radove, ilustratorske priloge, tekstove, eseje iz oblasti popularne kulture, proširenih medija i teorije umetnosti. Od 1982. do 1984. godine radio kao glavni i odgovorni urednik časopisa 4F, Univerziteta umetnosti u Beogradu. Bio je član Saveza novinara Jugoslavije od 1985. do 1990. godine i član ULUS-a od 1986. godine. Tokom 1986. bio stipendista ULUS-ovog Fonda mladih. Kao student postdiplomskih studija, tokom 1987. bio stipendista Fonda za razvoj naučnog i umetničkog podmlatka Srbije.





Kao multimedijalni umetnik i novinar aktivan na javnoj sceni već od kraja sedamdesetih godina 20. veka. Bio je tvorac kluba Akademija pri FLU u Beogradu, gde je od 1983. do 1990. godine radio kao programski urednik. Od 1989. do 23. marta 1999. godine radio kao autor i urednik eksperimentalnog medijskog projekta Radio Šišmiš na radiju B92, koja postaje zaštitni znak beogradske andergraund scene. Glasanjem redakcija beogradskih radio stanica ova emisija je proglašena kao najbolji autorski radio projekat za 1990. i 1991. godinu. Savremenici su ga nazivali Vergilije devedesetih, slovenski vuk, satiričar iz podzemlja i glas andergraunda.





Umro je 11. jula 2003. godine u Beogradu.
